Acela Technologies relocated to a new office located West of Frederick, to 5115 Pegasus Court Suite-A, from the downtown Frederick office at 201-A Broadway St., in December 2008. As a result of the move Acela will be hosting an open house including a ribbon cutting ceremony in the summer of 2009.

Acela Technologies is featured in the May 2009 edition of the Frederick Magazine, Daryl A. Boffman, President and CEO is featured as “People to Watch”.

Awards Recognition

• Acela received the Top 100 MBE Award in October 2006.
• Acela received the Tech Council of Maryland Entrepreneur of the Year Award in June of 2006.

Acela Technologies awarded a contract to provide a converged wireless Distributed Antenna System for a new J.W. Marriot Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.

Acela Technologies awarded a contract via Sprint to provide a turnkey broadband wireless infrastructure for the LA Live project in Los Angeles, California.

Acela Technologies was awarded a contract to provide a converged wireless Distributed Antenna System for The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain Resort located in Dove Mountain, Arizona in February 2009.

Acela Technologies was awarded a contract to provide maintenance and support services for the Distributed Antenna System at the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland in February 2009.

Acela Technologies was awarded a contract to provide a converged wireless Distributed Antenna System for Williams’ Operations Center and Warehouse complex near Parachute Colorado in January 2009.

Interns

Acela Technologies offers internships to high school students and Job opportunity for college students seeking engineering degrees. Positions for the college students have been filled for summer 2009. Currently we are excepting applications for high school seniors for 2009 – 2010 school years.
