President/Founder - Daryl Boffman
Daryl brings over fifteen years of executive level experience in strategic planning, finance/accounting, human resources and contracts management, and business development experience to Acela Technologies. Most recently, Daryl was VP of Finance at Integrated Communication Solutions, Inc. (ICS) a world-wide government network integrator based in Frederick, MD. As an executive team member, Daryl was involved in the on-going strategic planning for the company providing guidance in transitioning the company from a product to a services oriented company in the federal marketplace. He was also instrumental in implementing and scaling all finance and accounting functions within the company specific to government contracting requirements. Daryl was a capture manager for proposal activity within the company and set all strategic pricing initiatives for the company.

Industry Advisor - Jim Dertzbaugh
A seasoned entrepreneur, Jim brings over 20 years of sales and operations guidance to Acela Technologies. Most recently, Jim was VP of North American Sales - Metro Optical Networking Group at Lucent. Prior to this role, he was a Sales Director for Chromatis Networks and was responsible for many of the sales initiatives and early contracts which lead to the acquisition by Lucent for $4.7B. Prior to this, Jim was the co-founder and EVP - Operations for Integrated Communication Solutions, Inc., a worldwide systems integrator based in Frederick, MD. Jim was instrumental in developing ICS into a Cisco Silver Reseller and productizing various professional service practices. Under his guidance and management, ICS grew to an annualized revenue run rate of $12M/year.

Industry Advisor - John Walsh
A long time veteran of the industry and entrepreneur, John provides a broad range of guidance in commercial and public sector enterprise sales, marketing and vendor relationship management to Acela Technologies.

John currently manages the sales and operations of PointGov LLC – a professional services firm specializing in building businesses around enterprise sales and channels. Prior to the launch of PointGov LLC, John was the Western Regional Manager for the Enterprise Federal Channels organization at Cisco Systems. In this capacity he managed a sales team covering 23 western states and PACRIM generating $250M in revenue from the federal sector, much of it from advanced technology solutions such as wireless and VOIP, sustaining growth rates exceeding 200% per year five years in a row. Earlier in his Cisco career, John was the key architect of Cisco’s enterprise distribution strategy for the federal operations and was instrumental in the launch of Cisco's GSA Agent Schedule program.

Prior to Cisco Systems, John held various sales, marketing and management positions at Digital and Compaq Computers encompassing both enterprise and channel/distribution sales. In addition to his sales roles at Compaq Computers, John helped conceive the industry’s first GSA Agent program, still considered to be a model for the industry. He went out to manage Compaq Canada's channel marketing programs. At Digital, John was instrumental in the realignment of the PC Business Units strategy for the federal government market and initiative to reorganize Digital's GSA Schedule business to a single contract generating nearly $150M a year in revenue.
